Hello and welcome to the Ines Lamour’s blog, and its first ever article!

I thought for this first article it would be nice to give you a bit more details about me and my aim as a yoga and movement teacher. I didn’t want to put too much in the « about » website page, so that it would be more readable and not too boring.

But there is some more information I would like you to know, to let you discover a bit more about who I am, my journey, what I would like to share with you and the world you are walking into.

I started dancing at the age of 3. When running, jumping or simply moving are the most enjoyable things you know. I became a professional ballet/contemporary (mainly) dancer when I was 18. Over the years my education and my career have allowed me to acquire a deep knowledge of anatomy and physiology. Thus providing me with the required knowledge for high level sports and teaching.

A sportswoman and surf lover


After many years of practicing yoga and other activities that provide muscle strengthening and body awareness, I also specialized in this field.
I am a sports enthusiast. I practice several ones but fell in love with surfing a few years ago.
For me, It was a coherence.
A coherence between human body and ocean/nature’s movement. A perfect balance body, mind, nature and challenge.

Body and mind go together

As a Yoga Alliance certified yoga teacher, I wish to share my knowledge with those who wish to learn and for whom my work is relevant. I love to include to my classes dance intelligence and free movement it offers.

My journey has taught me so much about who I am, what is a body, how to be kind with it/me. It also showed me what it is to be a human in the middle of other humans and how to interact with them.

It is as important to take care of your mental health and your mind as your body. Take time for yourself, come back to yourself, breathe, learn to better know yourself. It is important to dedicate time to it. There, yoga is the passport body takes to cross spirit’s borders.
Body and mind go together, so it is elementary to work on each of them in order to maintain a balance and a well-being.
Each types I teach will bring you this balance in their own way.

Sharing, teaching, help you to discover your body

Today, my aim is to share my passion for movement, to help people be aware of their body, maintaining the mobility of joints and strengthening their skeleton and muscles to be in harmony with their body. This is the only way to be able to challenge yourself properly.

There will be only positive changes in your life if you take the plunge and try!
